Professional Experience 1994 - Present Engineer and Surveyor with MARTIN, OTTAWAY, van HEMMEN & DOLAN, INC. Areas of specialization include forensic engineering, mechanical systems, structural and mechanical system survey and overhaul and failure analysis. 1986 - 1991 Engineering Officer in the Irish Naval Service. Responsibilities included operations management, training of personnel, maintenance and planning for marine powerplants of 3,500 to 14,200 BHP, including annual maintenance budgets and dry-dock specifications. Retired at the rank of Sub/Lieutenant in November 1991. Currently on First Line Reserve Listing.
