Attend ISO, IACS, and other Offshore Industry meetings on behalf of ABS. Project Manager for Rowan Gorilla V Jack-up building at Le Tourneau Shipyard, Vicksburg, Mississippi. Project Manager Cantarell Offshore Project in Mexico.

 

1993 - 1997

Chief Engineer, Offshore Engineering Department

Advise staff and clients regarding ABS, IMO, UK HSE, USCG and NMD requirements for MODUs and FPFs. Represent ABS at IACS, UK HSE, USCG, etc. Coordinate cost estimates and Rule development for MODUs and FPSOs. Marketing visits to clients. Project Manager for Enserch Garden Banks FPF, ORXY SPAR FPF and all ABS new buildings and major modifications of MODUs.

Manage MODU Structures and Stability Sections. Advise staff and clients regarding ABS, IMO, UK HSE, USCG and NMD requirements for MODUs. Coordinate cost estimates and Rule development for MODUs. Represent ABS at IACS, UK HSE, USCG, technical seminars and trade shows on offshore. Project Manager for Santa Fe Galaxy I and II Jack-up Units Built in Singapore.

Responsible for 12 structural engineers and naval architects reviewing MODUs for ABS Class, IMO, USCG, UK HSE, NMD and CCG certification. Advise staff and clients regarding ABS Class, IMO, USCG, UK HSE, NMD and CCG requirements. Carry out and coordinate cost estimates for future contracts. Represent ABS at IACS, UK HSE, technical seminars etc.
