Vice President, Management Systems, CARNIVAL CORPORATION & PLC.  Focused on development and improvement of health, environmental, safety and security (HESS) management systems; sustainability programs and reports; post-incident safety reviews; HESS-related training; incident and claims databases.

  

2002 - 2007

Vice President Environmental Compliance, CUNARD LINE/ SEABOURN CRUISE LINE.  Ensured shipboard and shoreside implementation of CARNIVAL CORPORATION Environmental Compliance Plan.  Managed environmental compliance organization and staff; waste management standards and procedures; shipboard and shoreside training at all levels; internal and external auditing; and performance reporting.

Manager Safety and Environmental/ Designated Person Ashore, CUNARD LINE/ SEABOURN CRUISE LINE.   Planned, developed and deployed intranet-based ISM Code safety and environmental management system and procedures on Company cruise ships; trained shipboard officers and crew; audited safety and environmental management system; provided safety and environmental support to the fleet.

Updated and redeployed Seabourn Cruise Line safety and environmental management system and procedures after end of external ship management contract.

 

Upgraded, developed and deployed Cunard Line and Seabourn Cruise Line safety and environmental management system and procedures.

 

Managed project for global ISO 9001 assessment and certification of entire ABS organization.

 

Co-developed first lead assessor course (ISO 9001) approved by International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA).
